Anonymity – data protection

EpicWork guarantees the anonymity and data protection of the survey. To this end, EpicWork is advised on data protection by the renowned law firm Rink Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH.

  • • No personal data is processed and only aggregated data with a minimum number of 5 participants is displayed.
  • • When entering (optional) feedback, participants are responsible for the content they enter.
  • • Additional demographic data may be requested or processed as part of the survey.

Independence

We act as an independent survey partner; this is clearly regulated by contract with all customers. We act in accordance with German data protection regulations and have data security ‘Made in Germany’.

Technical protection

EpicWork relies on IT security "Made in Germany" when operating the PULSE software platform.

  • • Encryption of communication between client and server through the use of SSL (Secure Socket Layer) and security certificates.
  • • Use of fail-safe cloud server systems for stable operation. German data center (Hanover location) with German operator. Data center certified to ISO-27001 IT baseline protection in accordance with BSI guidelines.
  • • The IT and data architecture in the background also ensures anonymity, as the voting results are included in the overall results after each participation.
